WebTPA VPay EFT: Set Up Smart Data Solutions ERAs
By George Ruan • October 9, 2026
As of October 10, 2026. WebTPA’s public Prudential provider flyer names VPay as its payment vendor and gives a separate EFT/835 setup route. Use the flyer linked below for that documented group example; confirm your own WebTPA-administered group before applying its instructions. WebTPA Prudential provider flyer.

WebTPA, the network and the payment vendor
The flyer identifies WebTPA as the group plan’s administrator and Aetna Signature Administrators as its network. It lists payer ID 75261 for this example. The network name does not turn these into instructions for Aetna-insured plan payments or prove that every WebTPA group uses identical payment terms. WebTPA Prudential provider flyer.
How to request EFT and electronic remittances
Use the documented VPay contact. Call 855-893-3029 for EFT setup and ask to receive 835 electronic remittance advice. The flyer says VPay initiates provider enrollment with Smart Data Solutions (SDS). WebTPA Prudential provider flyer.
Configure the SDS delivery route. After the SDS link arrives, the flyer describes clearinghouse delivery, SFTP or downloading remittances from the SDS portal. Select the supported route your biller can actually retrieve. WebTPA Prudential provider flyer.
Confirm costs and payment preference. Recommended: ask for the written card/ACH terms, the billing entity and groups covered, and the effective date. This flyer does not publish a no-fee ACH promise or paper-check preference policy.
A deposit is not an ERA delivery test
Recommended: verify both the deposit and the 835 receipt. Record the payment reference and confirm the billing system can match it to the remittance. If one arrives without the other, ask support about the specific delivery path before resubmitting a claim.
If an earlier card was processed
Recommended: retain the payer remittance and merchant settlement, ask the processor about the fee and ask VPay about future delivery. A new EFT setup does not guarantee a refund or reissue of a card already processed.
