Our founding story
Bomi began with a problem close to home. While helping his mother with her therapy practice, Dax saw how much time insurance administration demanded: verifying benefits, resolving unpaid claims, and following up with payers. Work essential to sustaining the practice was competing with time for client care.
Dax connected with George to tackle the problem. George immersed himself in billing, credentialing, and payer workflows, helping turn that firsthand experience into the foundation for Bomi. Together, they saw an opportunity to give other therapists the same support.
Dax’s mother’s practice remains a Bomi client. That connection continues to inform the company’s purpose: help therapists manage insurance administration while preserving their independence and control over clinical care.
