As of October 10, 2026. Firefly Health’s provider FAQ says providers may receive payment electronically if configured, or through VPay. It publishes 877-714-3222 for creating a VPay account by phone or asking payment questions. Start from the current FAQ linked below. Firefly Health provider FAQ.

Which Firefly payments does this cover?

This guide concerns Firefly Health Plan claim payments. Firefly’s FAQ says member networks vary and instructs providers to use the payer ID on the member card for claims. Do not use a VPay account as evidence of eligibility, network participation or correct claim routing. Firefly Health provider FAQ.

How to discuss ACH or a card preference

  1. Call the payer-published VPay number. Use 877-714-3222 for account/payment questions. Ask which payment methods apply to the billing entity and plan identified on your notice. Firefly Health provider FAQ.

  2. Request written costs and alternatives. Recommended: ask about ACH/EFT availability, merchant card costs, any ACH transaction fees and whether paper checks are offered. Firefly’s reviewed FAQ does not publish the fee schedule, a free-ACH promise or a check opt-out policy.

  3. Confirm remittance delivery. Recommended: ask where the EOP/835 will arrive and which delivery route your biller should use. Keep that confirmation separate from the payment method election.

Check the EOP against the payment

Firefly says explanations of payment and electronic remittance advice are issued within 1–3 business days after a claim is finalized. That statement is not a guarantee about bank posting or merchant settlement timing. Recommended: match the payment reference, amount and billing entity before posting. Firefly Health provider FAQ.

If a card fee was already taken

Recommended: retain the merchant settlement and payer EOP, ask the merchant processor to identify its charge, and confirm future payment preferences with support. If the issue is a denial or payer adjustment instead, use Firefly’s Provider Support Hub rather than treating it as a card-processing problem. Firefly Health provider FAQ.
