Confirm the Apple Health plan for the service date
HCA’s maintained list includes Community Health Plan of Washington, Coordinated Care, Molina, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, and Wellpoint. Availability varies by area. This selected-ID reference was checked October 9, 2026. Our recommended setup record includes the plan, product, transaction, clearinghouse, service date, and source.

CHPW: CHPWA claims and CMTWA eligibility
CHPW’s 2026 manual gives CHPWA for Availity 837 claim transactions. Its eligibility section gives CMTWA for 270/271 inquiries and describes trading-partner connectivity requirements. Keep those transaction labels beside the IDs. Do not replace an eligibility entry with the claims ID merely because both entries refer to CHPW.
Coordinated Care: 68069
Coordinated Care’s July 2026 Apple Health provider operations manual identifies payer ID 68069 in its electronic claims instructions. Our recommendation is to confirm the exact product and clearinghouse mapping before submitting a professional or institutional claim, and then review the transmission response rather than assuming the selected payer name proves acceptance.

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan: 87726
The 2026 Washington Apple Health manual lists 87726 in its electronic claims section. Our recommendation is to verify the applicable claim and behavioral health instructions for the actual member and service before changing a route. A payer ID is one part of a supported submission workflow, not proof of network status or authorization.

Wellpoint Washington: WLPNT
Wellpoint’s Washington EDI page lists payer name WELLPOINT and ID WLPNT for its Availity EDI gateway. It expressly tells practices using a billing company or clearinghouse to work with that intermediary on which ID to use. Follow that instruction if your software displays a different payer entry.

Do not infer an ID from a different Molina product
Molina is on HCA’s Apple Health plan list. This reference deliberately does not publish a Molina number: we could not verify a current public Medicaid manual directly during research. Our recommendation is to obtain the current Apple Health submission instructions from the plan and clearinghouse rather than substitute an ID sourced only from a Marketplace document.

Keep ERA setup separate from claim submission
Wellpoint’s EDI page describes ERA enrollment through Availity and tells clearinghouse users to coordinate registration and receipt with their vendor. Our suggested payer setup review checks claims, eligibility, claim status, and ERA as separate transactions. Keep the source and confirmed mapping for each one.
