How to request EFT or paper checks

  1. Contact the plan’s published service number. Call 866-225-8501. The page says customer service connects providers to VPay for EFT enrollment or opting out of electronic delivery to receive paper checks. West Virginia Senior Advantage providers.

  2. Confirm the remittance choice. The same contact can assist with secure fax details and 835 electronic remittance transmissions. Recommended: ask where remittances will arrive after the payment change. West Virginia Senior Advantage providers.

  3. Review scope and the outstanding payment. Recommended: confirm the billing location, fee terms, effective date and what happens to an issued card. Save the reference and avoid processing a card and its replacement twice.

The AHS portal is a separate workflow

The page says Access Health Services oversees the plan’s provider portal starting January 1, 2026. That portal supports claim and authorization inquiries. Recommended: do not assume portal access has changed your VPay payment preference; verify the next payment independently. West Virginia Senior Advantage providers.

If you see a smaller settlement

Recommended: compare the payer remittance and merchant statement before deciding the payer underpaid. Ask the processor about any fee and its refund policy, then confirm future delivery through the plan’s VPay contact. A method change is not proof of a refund or a corrected claim.
