Florida Health Care Plans VPay: Enroll in ACH and 835
By George Ruan • October 9, 2026
As of October 10, 2026. Florida Health Care Plans (FHCP) publicly identifies VPay as its electronic claim-payment partner. Open the payer’s Claims page, linked below, and use its Provider Electronic Payment Options section for the current route. This is FHCP guidance, not instructions for every Florida Blue product. Why did FHCP send a VPay card?
FHCP says no advance enrollment is required to use its card payment. The card and explanation of benefits are delivered together, and the card is processed through your merchant terminal. The payment page also provides an ACH/835 alternative; electronic claim submission is not a prerequisite for using that payment service. Florida Health Care Plans claims.
How to enroll in FHCP ACH/835
Contact FHCP’s published VPay line. Call 855-893-0007 to enroll in the ACH/835 service. An 835 is the electronic remittance advice used to explain the payment. Florida Health Care Plans claims.
Review the terms and remittance route. Recommended: ask about ACH transaction costs, payer/location scope, required signing authority and how the 835 will reach your billing system. The public page does not establish free ACH or a paper-check opt-out policy.
Keep claim submission in its own lane. FHCP lists claim submission separately from payment delivery. Changing a payment method should not be treated as a new claim submission or proof that a denied claim has been paid. Florida Health Care Plans claims.
Verify the first payment after setup
Recommended: compare the remittance reference and amount with the deposit. Check that the 835 arrives in the intended billing workflow, rather than assume a bank payment proves the remittance feed is configured. Retain the enrollment confirmation and support reference.
If you cannot reconcile a fee or missing payment
Recommended: distinguish a payer adjustment shown on the EOB from a merchant charge shown in the settlement. Ask the entity that charged the fee about its refund policy. For unresolved payment-service questions, FHCP lists EDIClaims@fhcp.com on the Claims page. Florida Health Care Plans claims.
