Start with the Meridian Medicaid payment page
As of October 9, 2026, Meridian’s Illinois claims page names Payspan as its free ERA/EFT solution for Meridian Medicaid Plan. Use that payer page to reach the enrollment resources. It lists Payspan support at 877-331-7154 for registration help. Meridian Illinois Medicaid claims/payment
Keep electronic payment and claim submission separate
The payer page describes Payspan remittances and electronic payment alongside separate claims resources. Record how the biller submits claims and how it retrieves payment records. Changing the deposit route should not become an instruction to send duplicate claims or change a claim destination without checking payer guidance. Meridian Illinois Medicaid claims/payment
Do not reuse an old MMP relationship blindly
Meridian’s December 2025 notice says the 2026 Wellcare Meridian Dual Align D-SNP product needs its own Payspan registration, including for providers previously enrolled for MMP. Its December deadline is historical. If current Dual Align payments are missing, check that specific payer relationship rather than treating the old enrollment as sufficient. Verify a real payment before closing enrollment
Have the practice confirm the enrolled payee and bank destination, then ask the biller to locate the corresponding remittance and check the posting workflow. Keep the Medicaid and Dual Align relationships distinguishable in your internal checklist. If support needs more information, provide the affected product and payment reference through the payer’s approved channel instead of sending account credentials.
Existing Payspan account: add the payer and choose EFT
The screens below illustrate the Payspan interface in a January 2026 guide published by Arizona Complete Health. Your payer’s current product and payment instructions determine which options are available; this example does not replace them. Read the public Payspan tip sheet.
For an existing account adding a payer relationship, open Your Payments and Manage Reg. Codes, then Add New Reg. Code. Enter the registration code, PIN and TIN supplied for that payer relationship. Tip sheet, pages 1–2.

When Payment Preference offers ACH for the payer, select that option and review its terms before continuing. The guide says payment options depend on payer preferences; ask for the payer’s basic no-cost EFT route rather than assuming every ACH-branded offer has the same terms.
