MPRIME Training Sessions: Maryland Provider Guide

By Dax Earl • October 9, 2026

Last updated: October 9, 2026.

Searching for MPRIME training or MPRIME training sessions? Start at Maryland’s MPRIME Resource and Training Center.

As of October 9, 2026, the state’s training notice describes sessions for the new enrollment portal and directs providers to its MPRIME resources for registration and materials. It does not establish a current session calendar in this guide. Read PT 04-27: Upcoming MPRIME Training Sessions.

What do MPRIME training sessions cover?

PT 04-27 announces four topics: MPRIME functionality and provider registration, new enrollment applications, update applications, and revalidation. It says each training will be hosted several times and prerecorded versions will be posted closer to launch. Check the current resource page for availability rather than assuming an announced recording is already posted. See the official training announcement.

Where to register for MPRIME training

Maryland’s notice refers to a MPRIME System Training Registration Form and points readers to the MPRIME webpage. Use that official page to find the latest registration link and any replacements. We have not verified a standalone form URL or available October session dates. Follow Maryland’s registration instructions.

The Resource and Training Center organizes help under Getting Started, New Provider Enrollment and Manage Provider Information. Those are useful starting points for matching material to the task your practice actually needs to finish. Open the training center.

Choose training by the work your practice owes

Recommended training agenda: assign an owner to each open enrollment task and have that person focus on the matching module. A solo therapist may own all four areas. A group practice can divide the work while keeping one person responsible for confirming completion.

  • Account owner: learn registration and access, then confirm the intended provider records are visible.

  • Enrollment lead: learn the new-application workflow and compare the requested material with the practice’s pending application packet.

  • Practice administrator: learn updates and identify which demographic or business changes are waiting.

  • Revalidation owner: learn the revalidation workflow and reconcile the practice’s actual notices with its task list.

Bring a question list for your biller

A useful training session should leave you with a next action, an owner and a way to verify completion. Before attending, write down questions that apply to your practice:

  1. How does the owner obtain access to existing individual and group records?

  2. How does an authorized biller receive separate access, and which permissions are required?

  3. What evidence confirms an application was submitted rather than saved?

  4. Where do corrections, enrollment decisions and effective dates appear?

  5. What should the practice do if a required record or training resource cannot be accessed?

These are suggested questions, not verified MPRIME screen names. Keep unanswered questions on the access or enrollment task rather than filling the gaps with instructions from a different state portal.

Training attendance and enrollment approval are different

Maryland’s June update requires a complete, correct and processable application for its conditional new-provider backdating policy. Watching a training does not supply that application or establish an approval date. Review the application requirements in PT 94-26.

Recommended after-training check: update your task list with the official guide used, the action completed, the person responsible and the remaining blocker. For portal access, verify the intended record. For enrollment, retain the submission evidence and follow the actual decision.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find MPRIME training?

Use Maryland’s official MPRIME Resource and Training Center and the MPRIME transition page. PT 04-27 describes the announced session topics and registration process.

Are MPRIME training recordings available?

Maryland’s notice says prerecorded trainings would be posted closer to launch. Check the current official resource page; this guide does not confirm every recording is available.

Does MPRIME training enroll my practice?

Training explains the workflow. Enrollment still requires the appropriate application and a state decision; attendance alone does not establish approval.
