Direct links: Availity login, registration, recovery and help
Forgot your user ID? / Forgot your password? — use the two recovery links on Sign In.
Registration assistance — Availity Client Services: 800-282-4548.
Organization registration — payer network enrollment remains a separate payer process.

TL;DR: use your own login, and give your biller their own
Keep your own Availity user ID and authentication. Your biller uses a separate named user account; the administrator adds or invites that person and assigns the roles needed for the work. Registering an organization does not establish payer network participation. Availity user-account guidelines
Who needs their own Availity Essentials login
Availity requires each person to have their own account. An existing user can give an administrator their user ID to be added to another organization, rather than creating a duplicate identity. Official account guidelines
Before you create access
Check whether your organization already has an administrator. For new registration, have the practice tax ID, NPI and authority to accept the organization agreement ready. Billing services use their own registration route. Administrator registration guide, pages 2–3
Account setup steps
Open the official registration route and select the appropriate provider or billing-services Create Account option. Complete your individual user profile, then the organization wizard and identity-verification prompts. The following images are retained from Bomi’s existing walkthrough; use the current registration prompts if the layout differs. Official registration guidance

Add your biller with the required Availity roles
The administrator uses Manage My Organization > Manage My Teams > Invite Users. Enter the named person and email your billing team supplies, then use Assign Roles. For someone with an existing Availity account, use their existing user ID. User-account guidelines and administrator guide, page 3

Confirm the job-specific permissions with your billing team. Bomi’s existing illustrated example below identifies Administrator, Base, Provider Data Management (PDM), Claim Status, Transaction Enrollment, and Eligibility and Benefits (VOB). Administrator is a management role: discuss whether that level of access is necessary before assigning it. These are the selections in the retained Bomi example, rather than a claim that every biller needs every role.

Review the selections, update roles and send the invitation. The biller completes their own account setup and authentication. If a current screen uses different labels, use Help & Training > Find Help or contact Availity Client Services. BCBSM Availity administrator guide
Availity login errors and lockouts
Use Forgot your user ID? first if you have lost both credentials, then Forgot your password?. If login succeeds but the organization is missing, give your existing user ID to the administrator. For an error while assigning roles, Availity tells the administrator to reassign them. Official login troubleshooting

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Availity Essentials provider login?
Use the official Availity Sign In link at the top of this guide and your own user ID. Registration, user-ID recovery and password recovery are separate choices on that page.
Does my biller need their own Availity login?
Yes. Availity requires individual user accounts. The organization administrator adds or invites the biller and assigns the permissions needed for their work.
Can I use one Availity user ID for another organization?
An existing user can give the administrator their user ID to be added to another organization. The administrator controls the roles assigned there.
What if my Availity login works but my organization is missing?
Provide your existing user ID to the organization’s administrator so they can add it.
