TL;DR: use your own login, and give your biller their own
Use your own Availity login. Your biller gets a separate User account with roles the administrator assigns. Aetna Better Health network enrollment and state Medicaid enrollment are separate from creating portal access. Official account and access guidance
Who needs their own provider login
Your biller uses their own Availity user account. An administrator assigns roles for the work they need, such as eligibility or claim status. “Biller” is a job, not a special universal Availity role; the documented account is a User with assigned roles. Do not grant Administrator merely because someone submits claims. Official user and administrator guidance
Aetna Better Health login: check the actual state plan
Aetna Better Health’s Florida provider page directs providers to Availity, but also retains a link to the older Medicaid Web Portal (MWP). That is a Florida example, not a claim that MWP has been retired everywhere or that every state has identical tools. Select the Aetna Better Health state plan before following transaction or support instructions. Aetna Better Health Florida portal page
The Florida page tells an existing Availity practice to ask its administrator for a username; a new practice uses the Availity registration route. It also separates technical help from Provider Relations. Keep that distinction when a successful login still does not let you complete a plan-specific transaction. Aetna Better Health getting-started guidance
Before you create Aetna Better Health access
Identify the state plan and the practice’s existing Availity administrator. A new organization needs its tax ID, appropriate NPI and business addresses. The person registering it should be prepared to administer its users. If you already have a personal Availity account, use the supported organization-access process instead of creating a new personal ID for another payer. Availity registration and billing-service guidance
Account setup: user first, organization next
If the practice already uses Availity, ask its administrator to add you instead of registering a duplicate organization. If the practice is new, the person who will administer it starts the Healthcare Provider registration, creates a personal account, verifies the requested information and registers the organization through Manage My Organization. Complete the email and 2-step authentication prompts for your own account. Availity administrator guide (2025)

The Aetna Better Health Florida training deck illustrates the next, separate step: register the organization through Manage My Organization. We have covered the signed-in name in the original guide image with a solid mask; no live account was accessed to obtain it. Complete the practice registration and requested verification before expecting organization tools. Claims Provider Training, February 25, 2026

Add your Aetna Better Health biller as a User
The administrator opens Manage My Team(s), selects the correct organization and uses Add User or Invite Users. Enter the biller’s own details, then assign the roles their actual job needs. The March 2026 administrator guide identifies “Add users using Invite Users” as the help topic for this workflow. Review the organization and permissions before sending; an invitation is access to your practice, not a network application. Availity administrator guide, revised March 2026

For an outside billing service, agree which access relationship you are using before adding a person. Availity’s provider-registration guidance describes both billing-service access and provider organizations adding billing-service user IDs to their own organization. Use the supported arrangement for your practice; neither arrangement requires handing over the practice administrator’s password. Availity provider/billing-service arrangements
Aetna Better Health password, user-ID and access problems
Use “Forgot your user ID?” or “Forgot your password?” on the public sign-in page for credential recovery. If you can sign in but cannot see the practice or a tool, ask your organization administrator to check membership and assigned roles. For technical login help call Availity Client Services at 800-282-4548, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. Eastern. A password reset does not create a missing payer permission. Availity technical support
For Florida plan questions, use the Provider Relations channel published on the Florida portal page; its Medicaid MMA, Healthy Kids and long-term-care contacts serve different products. For another state, use that state’s provider contact page. Do not use a Florida claims or enrollment contact as a national Availity password help desk. Florida provider contact purposes
Enrollment remains separate from the portal login
The Direct links include the Aetna Better Health state selector and a clearly labeled Florida Join Our Network example. The network application belongs to the applicable plan and provider type; a User invitation in Availity does not replace it. The related Florida guides distinguish Medicaid enrollment, MCO approval and payment enrollment so those separate tasks do not get lost in portal setup. Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Aetna Better Health provider login?
The official Availity login is linked at the top. Use your state plan’s provider site for the applicable tools; Florida also retains an older MWP link, so do not assume that route is universally retired.
Do I need separate personal logins for each Aetna Better Health plan?
Use your own existing Availity account with the necessary organization and roles. Plan-specific enrollment or transactions can require additional setup; that is different from creating another personal login.
How do I reset my Aetna Better Health provider password?
For Availity, use Forgot your password? on its official login. For a state plan’s older portal, use that portal’s documented recovery route. Contact Availity technical support for Availity sign-in problems.
Can my biller sign in with my Aetna Better Health account?
The biller should have their own User account and the assigned roles or supported billing-service relationship. Do not share your personal password or 2-step authentication.
