How we calculated this
- Weekly sessions × 52 ÷ 12 per month. Each client is seen weekly.
- 80% of sessions are billed to insurance: one electronic claim and one ERA per session, and a $30 copay paid by card.
- 20% of sessions are self-pay at $100, paid by card. Self-pay sessions have no claim or eligibility check.
- One eligibility check per insured client per month. Two text reminders per session.
- AI notes are used in about half of sessions. Bomi charges $1 per AI note. Other EHRs charge a flat monthly fee for every clinician who uses AI, however many notes they write.
- Every clinician uses integrated telehealth for individual sessions. Bomi AI notes work from recorded telehealth sessions.
- Plans shown are the least expensive standard monthly plan with claims, telehealth, secure messaging, and reminders. Group practices use each EHR’s group plan. Free plans, trials, promotions, and annual-prepay discounts are excluded.
- Totals cover what you pay your EHR: subscriptions, AI notes, card processing, and per-use fees. They don’t include a billing service. Bomi EHR requires Bomi Billing at 4% of net collections, billed separately.
- Blueprint’s All-in-One EHR is $1.49 per session, applied to every session, with AI notes, claims, and eligibility checks included. Its card fee of 3.15% + 30¢ is waived until February 2027 and is included at the ongoing rate.
- Excludes taxes, card dispute and failed-payment fees, ePrescribe, group telehealth add-ons, paper claims, and new payer applications.
