TL;DR: use your own login, and give your biller their own

Use your own login. Your biller gets their own Delegate login after the provider creates or links the delegate and grants functions. Registering a portal account does not replace provider enrollment. official guide.

Who needs their own ARMMIS login

Keep your provider password private. Add a biller as a Delegate so they register and use their own login. The job aid supports adding an already registered Delegate to another provider, with that provider assigning the functions the person may use. official guide.

Before you create access

For a provider registration, have the provider ID and tax-identity information requested by the job aid. For a Delegate registration, obtain the delegate code from the provider. Choose the correct account type rather than registering the biller as the provider. official guide.

Create or use your ARMMIS account

Choose Register Now on the public portal and select Provider, Delegate or Trading Partner as appropriate. Follow the job aid’s identity and security steps, including the SiteKey and passphrase. Existing users begin with their User ID. official guide.

Add your biller: Delegate functions

In account management, choose Add New Delegate, complete the requested person fields and select Functions. Submit and confirm, then give the delegate code to the biller for their own registration. If they already have a Delegate account, use Add Registered Delegate and assign the provider’s functions. Never share your provider password. official guide.
